On the menu: music, crafts, board games, a costume contest, Just Dance, a game of Werewolf, and horror stories by candlelight. There’s plenty to keep you busy all evening!

We invite Jeannot Clair from GRIS Estrie to lead a workshop that is particularly relevant for addressing hatred and misunderstanding towards our communities!
Thursday, November 20
Trans Day of Remembrance can be a difficult time for our communities, so before the march and the reading of names, we invite members of our communities to gather for a moment of mutual support and gentleness. This gathering is intended for trans, non-binary, and questioning individuals, but the rest of the evening is open to everyone.
To honour those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, we are organizing a candlelight march. This march will begin at TransEstrie and proceed to Carré Strathcona, in front of Sherbrooke City Hall. There, we will have a minute of silence. We have candles, but we invite you to bring your own if you have them. The proceeding of the march will be explained before we set off.
This march is open to everyone.
After placing the candles at City Hall, we will return to TransEstrie for speeches, where we will have the opportunity to share our thoughts. Then, we will read the names of the 2S/TNBDG people who have lost their lives. “Gardiens du senti” will be on site if you feel the need to talk to someone or are experiencing distress.
Friday, November 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Something new following the end of our drop-ins!
Want to try gender-affirming items and learn more about them? Want to explore and borrow one of the books from our library? Now’s your chance!
At 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., you can attend a presentation on the gender-affirming items available at TransEstrie.
